A Room with a View By E. M. Forster

 

This was read as part of my book club.

Good Points:

This has philosophical parts and a good old fashioned romance.

Forster writes about the changing values of society.

I liked the humour in the book

Bad points

It took me a while to work out who the characters all were - they get introduced quickly

Cambridge Blue by Alison Bruce

A murder mystery set in Cambridge

Good points:
It is set in Cambridge
Quirky main character
It doesn't require any effort in reading

Bad points:
It is badly written
Plot points seem odd and unbelievable
Ending was a let down
